It’s perfect. I got this for my son for our trip to Europe. We couldn’t be happier. The paper is thick enough to handle little writers, full color throughout, 2 postcards for customizing and a few pages of stickers.

This travel journal is perfect for kids! My 7 yr old LOVES it. It is perfect for a short trip. We are going to Spain and this journal is making him so excited! It’s a rather juvenile journal, but honestly, I think my 11 year old would use it just as much as my 7yr old. (We bought the kids travel journal from Peter pauper press for my older kids). It’s fun and colorful and there is a wide variety of diary page formats to keep kids interested and engaged. I think this is great for all ages of kids.Something else that is cute is that the book jacket has “badges” to collect so if your child does one of the things, they get to put a sticker by the quest they fulfilled. All of us parents know that stickers are a great encouragement. For example- my 7yr old saw that one of the badges he has to earn is “learning the history of a place”. He’s already making sure that we do a tour and learn something interesting so that he can put the sticker in the book. Genius!I also love the pages where the kids can draw pictures of new foods they tried and rate what they thought. Wee Society thought of everything.All in all- it’s a fun book. However, if your child is a writer- I do not suggest this. Go for an old school journal. If your child needs active engagement and is better with a couple of sentences and drawing pictures- this is perfect.I’m taking my boys to Asia next summer and will be buying this book again for my youngest.

I wanted something to use to document my son’s first international trip, something obviously kid-oriented, and simple but detailed enough for me to fill in the info for him (he’s 11 months). I’m also not so good about documenting trips in writing, so I wanted something with prompts. After looking at all kinds of journals, I decided to try this one. I’m very pleased with this book and each of the pages! I love the illustrations, and there’s enough stuff for me to fill in that would capture highlights of the trip (and more), without requiring TOO much of my time. Some pages ask for drawings, but I’ll just stick some photos in those spots. I can’t wait to use this book, and plan to purchase one for each of our vacations!

Such a fun, engaging, and simple way for kids (or adults!) to journal travel. The graphics are awesome, and the journal prompts are quirky and perfect to keep kids interested while capturing meaningful memories (Look Up. Draw what you see.)There are 5 built-in “daily adventure logs” in addition to the many other creative prompt pages — which was the perfect amount for our trip.I also loved that some of the journal prompts were meant to be filled out in the days prior to leaving, which was a fun way to prepare and direct excited energy.The only improvement I would suggest is adding a few blank pages or spots to tape tickets/playbills/restaurant cards/ etc. but honestly, this little journal is as close to perfect as they come.

This is the 2nd time I buy this journal, and it was a gift for a 6-yo girl. She LOVED it.The first time I got it was for my 5-yo son. We planned a 2-week trip to a new place, and he had a lot of fun documenting everything. He was obsessed with reading it everyday when we returned xD He enjoys reading it from time to time to remember the fun things he got to do.I think I'll keep giving this as a birthday gift :)

Well made, easy to use, lots of creative options for kids to think about while they're traveling. Used with my preschooler on a road trip, and she had tons of fun filling out everything. She loved showing it off when we got back. Will definitely purchase again for future road trips.

Really cool pages and nice idea. Lots to do in it except actually write about the trip. There are only 3 pages to journal. They are really nice pages but there is hardly enough for a big long trip.

Good content, thought heavy and should be spiral bound for a kid to keep open easily.
