First let me start off by saying that the title doesn’t do this book justice because the story was not only about what the title implies but about what happens as Roman’s and Rourke’s relationship develops outside the sexual tension. Here we start to see a slight change in their behaviors toward one another you get more secrets that are revealed that Rourke doesn’t agree with. You get Nicky coming clean to her about some of Roman’s secrets that Roman himself didn’t reveal to her. Trust is a big issue in this story and I liked how well all of these things are written well together in this story. I wish there had been a better wedding scene. This book was also a sad one to read and full of action towards the end and the angst between the two characters. Again the book ends not with a traditional cliffhanger but an ending that lets you know that it is to be continued. I would recommend this book to those that read the first book because it just leaves you wanting more. My only complaint is the editing in this story, there were words that didn’t belong in a sentence or misspelling. There weren’t a lot but it is just worth mentioning.
After Roman and Rourke get married, Rourke finds out what Roman is really like. Although their bedroom is hotter than ever, (or whatever room they are in) bring on the AC. Their married life is not what Rourke thought it would be,.....secrets, lies, death, safe houses. Does Rourke still want to be married to Roman? Can Roman let Rourke go? Do Prince Charming and Cinderella actually live happily after? I can't wait to find out in he next book.
This is book two in the trilogy and I am beginning to feel annoyed with Rourke. She vacillates too much in her feelings with Roman. She is either happy or sad, calm or angry and her anger is questionable. Rourke had no idea of how powerful Roman is. Instead of looking at things in a positive light, she always reverts to "you don't trust me" or "you are not telling me everything". So many times, Roman has asked her to trust him, that there were things he did not want her involved with. Rourke feels entitled to know every single thing going on with Roman. However, Rourke has shown that she cannot handle the truth without prejudice. She feels betrayed and lied to by Roman. She has no clue how far Roman's reach in the world really is. I just really wish Rourke would get her head on straight and make up her d**m mind about how she is going to deal with Roman and her marriage.
The first book in the series pulled me in and kept me engaged enough to purchase this, the second book in the series. Yes, there was a cliffhanger and I wanted to know what happened. First book, girl meets billionaire prince, but doesn't know he is a prince. She is hired to be his personal assistant. They fall in love, he changes his will, and they get married. He keeps secrets from her - that he is a prince and is funding a war in his home country. That's all I could take. I will not read the 3rd installment, because, most likely they will have their HEA.

I absolutely love Roman and Rourke. Their relationship is up and down and full of hotness! I thought the first one was great. This second book was amazing! I knew it would be though because Jeana E. Mann is an awesome author. I cant even wait for the third book! I'm going crazy wondering!! I need book 3 now!!! :)
Excellent job with this book. I can't wait to read the next book and see how this story ends. I will continue to follow this author.
I wish it was longer and didn't end in suspense. Now I have to wait for book3 and it's going to drive me nuts!!!
