As the owner of Wise Path Books, I spend a lot of time reading, and some books are subpar, while others stand out. Hearts Set Free is one of those that was a joy to read. It is a soaring, historical epic, taking the reader through almost a century of interconnected and deeply meaningful story. With unforgettable characters, ranging from lovable ones reminiscent of George MacDonald or Michael Phillips heroes, to dark characters straight out of a supernatural thriller. Immersing myself in this unique story was well worth my time and I can whole-heartedly endorse it.

This book reminds me of the many questions I had growing up regarding God and our creation. One side of my family taught my sisters and I to have faith and to love the Lord. The other side of my family didn't understand it much so would throw out comments here and there causing my sisters and I to question our beliefs. So far this book is letting me know that I must not be the only one wanting so bad to come to the Lord but having questions of my own and questions asked to me by non believers that I could not answer. I'm learning and growing from reading Hearts Set Free. I love it!

It is hard to lay this book down. It has adventure, history, drama, Atheists, Christians and God, all woven together in a story that is sure to stay with you for a long time. I keep going over the story in my mind, rethinking the events and insights of this story. You will want to re-read passages just for the insightful thinking alone. I plan to give this book out as a gift to my friends.
